Sometimes you just need a change of identity and sound. Viewfinder is the new alias from Spillway aka. Kellon, dropping a brand new EP in the direction of analog synthwork and unusual syncopation. Opener 'Rear Window' is a test of our preference; with kick drums doubling up with what would usually be an offbeat hi-hat, where do we agree the first beat of the bar is? Luckily, things are spelt out much more clearly from there on out, with smooth follow-ups like 'The Orchid' rousing us into a simple melodic trance.
